About Al Sprague
Al Sprague has been painting Panama for over 65 years. Born and raised in the country of Panama, Sprague received his Master's Degree from American University in Washington D.C. He was the first artist in Panama to paint the pollera dancers and is best known for his paintings depicting this much-loved tradition of Panama. Sprague's work is proudly displayed around the world and can be found in Panamanian Embassies, Presidential libraries, corporate and private collections.
